Players may use one of their actions to sell Creature cards, discarding them for gold. The amount of gold received equals the creature's attack score. Creatures cannot be sold to other players.
You can summon a creature onto a biome already occupied by another creature, but this will automatically trigger a battle. If the summoner loses the battle, the summon fails, their gold is forfeited, but the creature remains in their hand.
At the end of a turn, any player without a creature on the map is awarded one passive unit of gold.
Players cannot move through a biome occupied by another creature unless a spell or ability specifically allows it.
If a battle is won by a margin of less than 3, the defender is pushed to the furthest available adjacent tile of their choice, effectively deciding the direction of their retreat. If no adjacent tile is available, the defending creature is discarded.
When a player controls three consecutively linked tiles, they must announce it to the other players. Simply stating "check" is sufficient.
